On the Art of Karen Laub-Novak

Karen Laub-Novak’s art is passionate and fierce. It is about strength and life; about struggles and striving. It is words that inspired her; words that she tries to flesh out (literally and figuratively) through her artwork. Yet it is important to realize that it works the other way too: her images are meant to turn our eyes inward, to spirit, to soul, to striving, to living.

These selection of writings provide a clearer understanding of her and her art and hopefully inspire everyone to strive and live.
